A study of the relationship between knowledge management and creativity in some selected hospitals in Isfahan

Abstract

Nowadays is an era whose mental structure is overwhelmingly oriented towards deepening knowledge and attention to the creative and knowledge-based human resources. knowledge management and creativity in nursing and other health-related professions will result in improvement in patient care. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between knowledge management indices and creativity in Isfahan-based hospitals. This study is descriptive and corelational. The population included head nurses of some selected hospitals in Isfahan who were selected by census. Research instruments in this study consisted of two knowledge management and creativity questionnaires. There were 80 respondents in the study. The data were statistically analyzed by descriptive statistics (frequency, mean and standard deviation) as well as inferential statistics (corelational index and multiple regression). The results of the study indicated that there was a statistically significant relationship between knowledge management indices and creativity (r=0.532) which was significant (p<0.01). However, there was no significant relationship between mean scores of knowledge management and creativity in terms of tenure, gender and age. It is necessary for hospitals to apply more seriously approaches which are based on knowledge management so that creativity can be obtained by more effective application of knowledge and mental resources. &nbsp;

امروزه عصری است که ساختار فکری آن آکنده از عمق‌بخشیدن به دانش و توجه به مشارکت نیروی انسانی خلاق و&nbsp;دانش‌گراست. مدیریت دانش و خلاقیت در پرستاری و سایر حرفه‌های حوزه سلامت، به بهبود مراقبت از بیماران منجر می‌گردد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی میزان همبستگی بین شاخص‌های مدیریت دانش با خلاقیت در بیمارستان‌های شهر اصفهان انجام گرفت. این مطالعه، یک پژوهش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری شامل سرپرستاران بیمارستان‌های منتخب شهر اصفهان بودند که به روش سرشماری انتخاب شدند. ابزار اندازه‌گیری در این پژوهش، دو پرسشنامه مدیریت دانش و خلاقیت بود. تعداد 80نفر به پرسشنامه‌ها پاسخ دادند..&nbsp;تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها در دو سطح آمار توصیفی (فراوانی، میانگین و انحراف استاندارد) و آمار استنباطی با کمک آزمون‌های آماری ضریب همبستگی و تحلیل رگرسیون چندمتغیره صورت گرفت. بر طبق نتایج این مطالعه، بین شاخص‌های مدیریت دانش با خلاقیت رابطه معنی‌داری وجود داشت. ضریب همبستگی بین مدیریت دانش با خلاقیت 535/0r= بود که در سطح 1 0/0p< معنی‌دار می‌باشد. بین میانگین نمره‌های مدیریت دانش با خلاقیت بر اساس سابقه خدمت، جنسیت&nbsp;و سن، تفاوتی وجود نداشت. با توجه به نتایج این مطالعه، لازم است که در بیمارستان‌ها، روش‌های مبتنی بر مدیریت دانش به‌گونه‌ای جدی‌تر به‌کارگرفته شوند تا با بهره‌گیری مؤثّرتر از دانش و سرمایه‌های فکری، امکان توسعه خلاقیّت فراهم گردد. &nbsp;
